The mission of the Atlanta BBQ Club is to introduce Atlantans to, and educate them about the variety of BBQ restaurants and methods of cooking BBQ. We sell memberships to individuals for $25 per year. In return you get,

Up-to-date information -- and 10 % Discounts -- from local member BBQ restaurants.
News and discounts about state-of-the-art BBQ equipment.
"Fieldtrips" organized by the club to BBQ Contests throughout the South (ie. National BBQ festival in Douglas Georgia).
A once a Month "Meating" at a local establishment to try some new bbq or enjoy a familiar favorite.
Invitations to "Private-only" BBQ functions put on by members or selected chefs.

Our September meeting will be a

"Bring your own BBQ (BYOBBQ)"

at Oakhurst Baptist Church

Sunday September 14th

1-3 PM

Members can bring a sample of their own BBQ or side to share.

Tickets are $10. Proceeds raised will go to Oakhurst Recovery Program which is program that helps homeless men recover from addiction.

Oakhurst Baptist Church is located at 222. East Lake Dr. Decatur GA 30030. This event is in the tradition of a church potluck. There will be some Brazilian BBQ, North Carolina BBQ, Brunswick Stew and plenty of delicious sides. Come eat for a good cause.
